The Department of Small Problems exists because somebody once said, “There should be a person who deals with this.” Unfortunately, that person is us.

We investigate the tiny things that make a day slightly more complicated: the vanishing scissors, the loud fridge, the wet spoon, and whatever is currently happening on the chair.

Our promise

We will take your small problems seriously. Much too seriously. There may be a clipboard.

We cannot promise a solution. We can promise a reasonably detailed description of the problem, a cup of tea, and a follow-up that starts with “Unfortunately.”

Meet your investigators

Our team brings years of experience in noticing things, moving piles, and standing in doorways. Meet the department →

Actually, this is a Dashless demo.

This entire publication is fictional. It shows what a blog made with Dashless can feel like: your own look, stories worth reading, photos, topics, search, and a place people can return to.

You tell Dashless what you’d like to write or change. You review the result. You decide when it’s ready to publish.

The stories were written for this sample, and the evidence photograph was generated for it. No real civil servants or pigeons were assigned to these cases.

This local demo does not collect email addresses, accept submissions, or send messages.
